What this is
muri tells stories to children. A child chooses two or three pictures, muri writes a story from them and reads it aloud. The provider is Orhan Olgar, Tellstr. 9, 12045 Berlin, Germany.
Who it is for
The contract is with adults. Children use muri with their parents' knowledge. Settings, purchases and sharing sit behind a parent gate.
Stories by an AI
The stories are written by an AI. Every paragraph is checked before it is read aloud. A story can still contain a mistake or not be to your liking. You can delete any story and report it to us. A story is entertainment, not advice.
Free and subscription
The first new story is free. After that a subscription is needed, monthly or yearly. The app shows the price, and a trial if there is one, before you buy. The subscription renews until you cancel it. You cancel in the settings of your Apple account, at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
How many stories
A subscription includes a fixed number of new stories a week. The app states the number before you buy. A week runs from Monday to Sunday. Stories on the shelf can be heard as often as you like.
Bought stories
You can buy stories in packs. They are used only when the week's number has been told, and they do not run out as long as muri exists. They cannot be exchanged for money.
Withdrawal and refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple. Apple's terms apply to withdrawal and refunds. You request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Sharing
You share only stories from your own shelf. A shared link is valid for 30 days. We may remove a link when its content breaks these terms or the law.
What is not allowed
Getting around the app's limits, fetching stories by automated means, using the app to harm others, or spreading content that is not suitable for children.
When something does not work
We work to have muri tell a story every evening but cannot promise it. Without a network and during an outage muri tells stories that came with the app, and all those on the shelf.
Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under product liability law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential duties and only for the damage that was typically foreseeable when the contract was made.
Changes
If we change these terms, we tell you in the app before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel.
Law
German law applies. Protective rules of the country where you live as a consumer remain in force. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board. This text is a translation. The German text applies.
